Three women connected by a crime. A villain manipulating them from behind the scenes. Can they survive his deadly game?

If ambition could kill, Morgan Steele would be six feet under. One of DC’s shrewdest attorneys, she is hungry for a case that will catapult her to national prominence. When the notorious Vivien Gibson ends up without legal representation in a high-profile kidnapping trial, Morgan is only too happy to step in.

But Vivien is a client like no other. Masquerading as a betrayed Dallas housewife, she plays fast and loose with the law, claims innocence despite being caught red-handed, and drags Morgan into her years-long feud with the kidnapped children’s mother, Alex.

With the past crashing at her doorstep, Morgan grapples with Vivien’s defense. But her chances to gain the recognition she yearns for increase dramatically when Alex is accused of committing a crime.

Shocked by the absurdity and the dire consequences of the accusation, Alex goes after the people behind it. But anyone who stands in their way is in imminent danger, and Alex, Vivien, and Morgan are already in their crosshairs…

Who will survive?

The Enabler is a standalone book in the bestselling Alex Demarchelier Series.

Alex would kill to protect her children, Vivien would kill for the bonus she expects to receive for kidnapping them. But Vivien’s scheme falls apart, and she finds herself on the run.

She reinvents herself and is celebrating the beginning of her new life in a plush hotel when an unexpected phone call opens the door to an opportunity to avenge herself and destroy her archenemy, Alex.

Knowing that Vivien couldn’t have kidnapped her children on her own, Alex takes on corrupt agents and a tsunami of social media misinformation to keep her family together and safe. Her pursuits put her in the crosshairs of Vivien’s influential mentor, who, like Vivien, is untraceable—an invisible, ever-present danger.

Hiding behind the rampant panic caused by a malicious code that is ravaging computers across the country, he sets out to trap Alex and launch his ultimate power game.

Only one player can win. Who?

Alex is back and so is Vivien. BIG!

The Deal is a continuation of The Wall, but can be read independently without any confusion.

2022: The Code

Alex Demarchelier book 3.

My second thriller, The Project, was just published, and before we move on to the next thing, let me tell you a few words about it.

I started to think about The Project a long time ago, when I was still running a knowledge center for forensic psychiatry. In fact, I wanted to write The Project first, but The Wall wrestled its way out ahead of schedule 🙂

Considering the timeline, The Wall knew what it was doing because it happened before The Project, which happened before the sequel to The Wall (Alex Demarchelier book 2), the thriller I am plotting right now. FYI, it doesn’t have a title yet.

As in the The Wall, The Project’s protagonist takes on a dark type none of us wants to meet in real life.

However, The Project’s villain isn’t anything like The Wall’s Vivien - an unhinged woman who manipulates anyone near and dear to her and makes their life miserable because she doesn’t know what else to do with herself. The Project’s villain operates on a much larger scale. He misleads, uses, and abuses people because he can. And because it pleases him…

The Project is an independent story, although there is a connection with The Wall, which will deepen in the sequel. Or, “worlds will collide,” as my editor put it. For those of you familiar with the characters:

* Collin and Helen will have a small but important role in the sequel.

* Alex will be confronted with the aftermath of events that happened in The Project, among other things...

* And last but not least, Vivien - the villain of The Wall - will be back. In a BIG way.

And that’s all I am going to say for now. We don’t want any spoilers, do we? 😉
